Beginning with the first issue of 2027, Nuova Rivista Storica will transition to a fully Open Access publishing model. This transition is intended to further enhance the journal’s academic visibility, accessibility, and global impact.

From 1 June 2026 onward, all newly submitted manuscripts that are accepted for publication will be subject to an Article Processing Charge (APC).

Throughout 2026, Nuova Rivista Storica will continue to operate under its current hybrid publishing model.

The journal’s aims and scope, editorial standards, and peer-review process will remain unchanged. The Editor-in-Chief and Editorial Board will continue to guide the journal’s development and uphold its longstanding academic tradition.
